You are welcome to use any mediums you would like. Charcoal, pencil, pastel, paint….. Learn how to measure from a model using a basic unit of measurement to get your proportions. Study the portrait up close or draw in the full figure.

It’s back!!! Color Theory 1 Workshop! This is a 3 day color intensive workshop . By far the most popular workshop offered for color theory. In this workshop, you will learn about hue, temperature, value and intensity. You will come away with a three ring binder filled with the exercises that will be your guide to using color. Color Theory Part 1 required prior to taking Color Theory 2. Delve a little deeper into color theory and build upon Color Theory 1 lessons. Put is all into practice in this two day workshop. You will be doing some art studies in your color medium of choice. In Color Theory 1, you learned the foundation of color theory by doing exercises. In Color Theory 2, you will put it all into practice in a finished piece of art! You will also have another three ring binder for reference with this workshop. Essential to anyone working in color!
